Virginia’s Braxton Key just doesn’t give up

I mean, how did he even?

NCAA Basketball: Battle 4 Atlantis-Middle Tennessee State vs Virginia Kevin Jairaj-USA TODAY Sports

Virginia CavaliersBraxton Key, new to the Hoos’ rotation this year, shows the immediate impact he has on the team as his grit was on full display in Virginia’s 74-52 win over Middle Tennessee.

The transfer from Alabama fought endlessly for the offensive rebound and was rewarded with three shot attempts and the and-one bucket in this ACC Must See Moment.

Key has started in all four games so far this season, shooting 40% from the field (10-of-25) and 40% from three (4-of-10). He’s average 8.0 points and 6.5 rebounds per game.

Key and the rest of the Hoos will be back in action at 4:00 p.m. ET against Dayton in the semifinals of the Battle 4 Atlantis in the Bahamas. Stay tuned to STL for more all day.
