Virginia Cavaliers’ Braxton Key, new to the Hoos’ rotation this year, shows the immediate impact he has on the team as his grit was on full display in Virginia’s 74-52 win over Middle Tennessee.
The transfer from Alabama fought endlessly for the offensive rebound and was rewarded with three shot attempts and the and-one bucket in this ACC Must See Moment.
Key has started in all four games so far this season, shooting 40% from the field (10-of-25) and 40% from three (4-of-10). He’s average 8.0 points and 6.5 rebounds per game.
Key and the rest of the Hoos will be back in action at 4:00 p.m. ET against Dayton in the semifinals of the Battle 4 Atlantis in the Bahamas. Stay tuned to STL for more all day.
