Though the Virginia Cavaliers’ men’s basketball season came to an abrupt end in the first weekend of the NCAA Tournament, there’s so much to celebrate in your ACC Regular Season and Tournament Champions. The Hoos went an unprecedented 17-1 in the ACC, just a single point away from going undefeated in the toughest conference in the country. Just as impressive, Virginia held 18 opponents to under 55 points, plus another two more right at 55.
At the beginning of the season, we asked you to commit to giving a certain amount for every opponent Virginia held to under 55. A total of 51 of us took on this challenge, with pledge amounts anywhere from $5.00 per game to $50.00 per game—and expensive but rewarding endeavor this season. Some of you went above and beyond, creating your own personal challenges, such as including the 55-point games, or giving extra for holding to under 40 (3 times) or under 50 (12 times, including those under 40). Some of you also committed to giving every time the women’s basketball team held an opponent to under 55—that happened a whopping nine times!!
Now that we’ve reached the end of the season, it’s time to pay up. You can use the little CrowdRise widget to make your donation, which is tax deductible as the money goes straight to the One Love Foundation. If everyone who pledged gives, we’ll reach nearly $10,000 this season alone!

Everyone who fulfills their pledge amount will be automatically entered to win one of several One Love Foundation prize packs! These prize packs include a t-shirt, a silicon band, a One Love magnet, and eternal gratitude (Gratitude ARV: Priceless). In order to enter, just do the following:

This isn’t a perfect system — some of you ended up giving using multiple email addresses, and we largely weren’t able to pair up a few, so check your records.
