We’re not even 24 hours after the 2018 National Championship was decided by the Villanova Wildcats in convincing fashion over the Michigan Wolverines, but Westgate and others have already released their odds to win the 2019 NCAA Tournament—in fact, they did so hours before last night’s game even tipped off.
Duke opened as the early favorites with 5/1 odds, while Villanova, Kansas, and Kentucky were all listed with 8/1 odds. Michigan, who actually played in last night’s game, had 20/1 odds.
Your Virginia Cavaliers had the same odds as Michigan State at 15/1, despite neither team making it to the Sweet 16 this year.
