It was an ugly game from the beginning as it looked like neither team had any particular interest in scoring points on Sunday. But it was the No. 5 Virginia Cavaliers who hit their stride, finding new contributors in meaningful ways while holding the No. 7 North Carolina Tar Heels to under-55 in their 56-47 victory. That’s an extra $3 for the extra credit bonus, and by the way, since the last time we counted for y’all, the women’s team picked up two additional Pack Line Pledge games on their end, with wins over ODU and JMU. Their count is now up to four.

For those of you who don’t remember, for ever Pack Line Pledge game — that is, for every game that the Cavaliers hold their opponents to under 55 — Pack Line Pledge participants will donate a set amount to the One Love Foundation in honor of Yeardley Love.
