Pack Line Pledge Wrap-Up: Time to make final payments!

Notwithstanding a truncated season that took away both the ACC Tournament and NCAA Tournament, the Virginia Cavaliers held 16 opponents to under 55 points this year. That’s a Pack Line Pledge Success Rate (PLPSR, the single most important metric) of 53.3%.

Here’s the final tally:

• Pack Line Pledge Games: 16 | UVA held 16 opponents to under 55. There are 62 of you who pledged this year, for a total of $673.50 per game. Total Amount: $10,776.00
• Women’s Basketball Bonus: 7 | There were seven women’s games where the opponent failed to score 55. There were 22 of you who pledged this bonus for a total of $282 per game. Total Amount: $1,974.00
• Rounding Error: 1 | Vermont scored exactly 55 points, which technically didn’t count towards the Pack Line Pledge. But 39 of you pledged to count this, so that’s another $448.50
• Extra Credit: $100 | There are 30 of you who pledged to give an extra dollar per point where an opponent didn’t even make it to 50. That happened 11 times this season for a total of $100 (remember when Maine only scored 26?!). Total Amount: $3,000.00

So add that all up and if everyone pays what they originally pledged, that’s a total of $16,198.50 for the One Love Foundation!! You can make your donation above, or you can mail them a check. Just note on the check that this is part of the Pack Line Pledge!
