Mike London and company are continuing to reel in commitments this summer as Virginia received their 11th commitment of the Class of 2016 on Tuesday from Roanoke, Va. cornerback Darrius Bratton.
The 6'1", 160 lbs. cornerback had attended one of Mike London's camps on June 7, shortly after which he landed his offer. At the camp, 247 reports, Bratton clocked a 4.46-second 40-yard dash.
It didn't take long for Bratton to commit. By all accounts, he's excited to join the Virginia family. No doubt, this is in part due to his father being a UVA fan and living close by.
"It was really close to home and my dad is a big UVa fan," Bratton told Scout. "He loved going up to UVa. It was the perfect fit."
He also told Scout that Virginia "is a great school with great academics. We just loved the campus and everything just fell into place when I was up there. It is just a great school."
Bratton is unrated by all the major scouting services.
